Ken had finished packing their things and loading them into the saddlebags. He sat down to polish his sword and noticed Anna was staring out over the pond. He got back up and went over to her, taking a seat in the grass.
"Still got it on your mind?" He asked.
She didn't speak. She gently took the fleece in her hand and dipped it in the water. In the ripples her reflection changed, a girl with short red hair and ice blue eyes stared back at her.
Ken put his hand on her shoulder, brushing the auburn hair away. The two sat there for a little while longer.
