"This yours, young lady?" The old man pulled out a red scarf tucked behind his back.

The girl's eyes grew wide, she nearly jumped in exclamation. "Yes sir!"

The old monk tossed it to her. She happily wrapped it around her neck, although it was quite a bit too large.

"Well, I guess I'm happy to return it to it's owner. Don't go losing things again now, understand?"

The girl nodded, and the old monk turned to leave. They both knew it wasn't hers to begin with.

"Catch you later." He said in a dismissive tone.

The girl held the scarf tightly. "Wait!"
